Vishay PhMKP Capacitors are metalized polypropylene film capacitors with self-healing properties. A metal layer that conducts the current for the MKP capacitor is evaporated on one side of the polypropylene film. This is a three-phase capacitor rated for 440V/50 Hz.

The PhMKP / PhMKPg series from Vishay ESTA features power factor correction capacitors in cylindrical aluminum housings with screw terminals rated IP00. Vishay ESTA LVAC MKP capacitors are metalized polypropylene film capacitors with self-healing properties. The current-carrying metal layer of the MKP capacitor is evaporated on one side of the polypropylene film. The front sides of the tubular windings are connected using a metal spraying method. Three windings are encapsulated in a single aluminum housing and connected to form a true three-phase capacitor. A pressure relief bursting device prevents the capacitor from bursting. The capacitor is housed in a tubular aluminum container with a crimped aluminum lid. Current is supplied through a screw terminal rated IP00. The threaded screw (M12) at the bottom of the container serves for grounding and connecting to the network.
