Vishay ESTA's PhMKP / PhMKPg series with power factor in cylindrical aluminum housings with IP00 screw terminal correction capacitors. Vishay ESTA LVAC MKP capacitors are metallized polypropylene film capacitors with self-healing properties. The current carrying metal layer of the MKP capacitor is evaporated on one side of the polypropylene film. The front side of the tubular windings are bonded using a metal spraying (shopping) method. The three windings are encapsulated in a single aluminum housing and connected to form a true three-phase capacitor. At the address, a pressure relief tear lock prevents the capacitor from breaking. The capacitor is housed in a tubular aluminum container with an aluminum lid molded onto it. The current is fed through a screw terminal with IP00 protection. A threaded screw (M12) on the bottom of the container is used for earthing and for connection to the mains.
