NOVAR 1005D - reactive power controller

NOVAR 1005D reactive power controller 80 - 275 V AC, 5+1 relay outputs, power factor 0,8 ind. - 0,8 kap. temperature measurement, fan control, sensitivity 20 mA, front panel installation, DIN rail. The controllers are fully automatic devices that monitor the condition of the LV/LV distribution network and, based on fast and accurate calculations, connect or disconnect individual compensation or decompensation stages (capacitors, decompression inductors) to achieve the desired power factor.

NOVAR 1005D are the basic type of reactive power controller. They are especially designed for less demanding compensation systems. Their main advantage is their compact design (for installation in a 90x106 mm panel) and favourable price. Compared to its predecessor NOVAR 5, the current sensitivity of the controller has been increased for better compensation at low loads. In addition, the 1007 model has up to 8 output relays in total.

Both controller types are fully automatic and constantly monitor the status and function of the compensation system. Malfunctions are immediately indicated by alarms. Like their higher version NOVAR 1114, these compact controllers also include an advanced algorithm for optimal stage selection. This deliberate selection of active stages virtually extends the lifetime of the entire system.

The controllers are also available in DIN-rail versions as NOVAR 1005D and 1007D.
