The JAREG Profi 1114 controller is a fully automatic device that monitors the condition of the compensated LV/LV network and, based on fast and accurate calculations, connects or disconnects individual compensation or decompensation stages (capacitors, decompression inductors) to achieve the desired target power factor. Maintaining the set power factor level serves to stabilize the voltage of the compensated section of the network and current relief of the supply wires.

The reactive power controllers of the JAREG Profi 1114 series represent cutting-edge technology for efficient energy management. These innovative devices offer a fully automated solution for optimal reactive power compensation, thereby increasing energy efficiency and reducing operating costs.

Building on the proven design of the JAREG Profi-1114 series, these controllers maintain intuitive operation and easy connection, while bringing a host of improvements and new features for expanded adaptability and performance.

Thanks to the integrated precise voltage and current measuring circuit, along with digital data processing, the JAREG Profi controllers achieve high accuracy in evaluating the effective values of voltage, current, and power factor. An internal temperature sensor monitors the temperature inside the switchboard, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

The controllers are designed for universal use with current measuring inputs compatible with nominal secondary current values of PTP 1A or 5A. Installation and configuration are fully automated, with the controller able to automatically identify both the connection method and the size of the connected compensation stages, with the option for manual setting.

Regulation occurs in all four quadrants, with speed dependent on the size and polarity of the regulatory deviation. The device intelligently switches compensation capacitors on and off to achieve an optimal state of compensation with a minimum number of switched stages, while ensuring even loading and minimizing residual charge.

During regulation, the JAREG Profi controllers perform continuous monitoring of the compensation stages. Upon detection of a failure or change in stage value, the stage is temporarily excluded from regulation. The temporarily excluded stage is periodically tested and possibly reintegrated into the process, ensuring high reliability and long-term sustainability of the system.
